ELITE Strengthens Global Sourcing Strategy Through China Business Trip
ELITE Construction President & Principal Dustin Mayers and Business Development Manager Scott Wilson recently traveled to China to meet with current and prospective investors and strengthen strategic relationships connected to ELITE’s multifamily development work.
A key focus of the trip was Rock Creek Apartments, ELITE’s 754-unit multifamily project in Gainesville, Texas. During investor meetings and presentations, the ELITE team shared the project vision, discussed future development opportunities, and continued building relationships with partners interested in supporting large-scale multifamily projects.
In addition to investor meetings, Dustin and Scott toured manufacturing facilities as part of ELITE’s plan to strengthen direct sourcing capabilities for current and future projects. The goal is to build stronger relationships at the source, improve access to quality materials, support better pricing, reduce procurement delays, and create more certainty in the construction process.
Across the market, many owners and developers are facing increased pressure from rising costs, tight timelines, and projects that struggle to pencil before construction begins. By improving sourcing, pricing, and procurement efficiency, ELITE is working to help move projects forward that might otherwise remain stuck.
“At ELITE, we are always looking for better ways to support our clients and strengthen the economics behind every project,” said Dustin Mayers, President & Principal of ELITE Construction. “This trip was an important step in building relationships that can help us create more value, improve efficiency, and deliver greater certainty for the owners and developers we serve.”
The China trip reflects ELITE’s continued commitment to building strong partnerships, both locally and globally, while helping clients accelerate returns, protect margins, and reduce risk from preconstruction through project delivery.
