ELITE Construction Breaks Ground on 754-Unit Apartment in Gainesville, Texas
Gainesville, Texas – ELITE Construction has officially broken ground on its latest project, the Rock Creek Apartments. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 8th, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the company. The event celebrates ELITE Construction’s ongoing expansion and expertise in renovation and development. The Rock Creek Apartments project represents a new chapter in the company’s growth and commitment to excellence.
The event, which took place at the project site in Gainesville, brought together the entire ELITE Construction team. Additionally, there was key partners and local dignitaries that attended the event. The company celebrated the start of a transformative project for both ELITE Construction and the community.
The Rock Creek Apartments project is a major development for ELITE Construction. It features 754 units across 18 buildings on 27 acres of land. This project is focused on providing modern amenities and high-quality living spaces. It will address the growing demand for multifamily housing in Gainesville. We expect to complete the first phase, which includes 210 units, by November 2026.

These individuals played key roles in bringing the project to life, each contributing their expertise to ensure its success.
Mike Watson, CEO of SummaTera Ventures, spoke at the event, expressing his enthusiasm for the project. “We worked with the city for years to get this project prepped up,” Watson said. “So, we went looking to see who would be the very best commercial partner in construction, and ELITE Construction is who we came across.”

In the Rock Creek Apartments, you will find a range of amenities that cater to residents’ needs, including a fitness center, swimming pool, spa, pickleball area, basketball court, outdoor BBQ grill with ice maker and refrigerator, and a park. The apartments offer a variety of floor plans, ranging from a 629 sq ft studio to a 1,215 sq ft three-bedroom unit.
