ELITE Breaks Ground on Luxury Residential Development in Pensacola, Florida
ELITE Construction officially broke ground on 3161 Olde Barrancas Avenue, a luxury condominium development in Pensacola, Florida. The ceremony marks a significant milestone for the company as its first building project outside of Texas.
The groundbreaking brought together ELITE Construction leadership, project partners, and local officials to celebrate the start of construction on the boutique residential development. The project will feature 16 luxury condominium residences, each offering three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, over 2,200 square feet, and expansive views overlooking the marina to the north and the Gulf Coast to the south.
Developed by Jane Birdwell in partnership with ELITE Construction, the project is intentionally designed to complement one of Pensacola’s most established neighborhoods while responding to strong local demand for high-end residential living.
“I’ve loved this area since I was a little girl,” said Birdwell. “This neighborhood is one of the most prestigious in Pensacola, and with the marina development across the street, this lot was just perfect for a boutique condominium. We have a demand for it here — we just don’t have enough.”
ELITE Construction President and Principal Dustin Mayers emphasized the importance of thoughtful density and design in the project’s planning.
“Being right around an acre and only putting 16 units on it is ideal for the neighborhood,” Mayers said. “The size of the units is phenomenal. Over 2,200 square feet — and the density is appropriate for both the community and future owners. With views in both directions, it couldn’t be a better project for this area.”
Following the ceremony, Mayers and Birdwell walked the site together, discussing the project’s vision and its role in Pensacola’s continued growth.
“This is a milestone for us,” Mayers added. “Breaking ground here represents not only the start of construction, but the beginning of a new chapter for ELITE Construction.”
Construction is now underway, with additional project updates to be shared as development progresses.
